Home Is Where The Heart Is

Every person deserves a place to call home, a place where they can feel safe and secure. Yet, for millions of people around the world, this basic human right is out of reach. They struggle to find even the most basic shelter, exposed to the elements, and often living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. By donating you can help us provide shelter and restore dignity to those who need it most.

The Project in detail

Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters

We all know that Allah (SWT) loves those who are kind and generous to His creation. One of the most rewarding acts of kindness and generosity is Sadaqah Jariyah – a continuous act of charity that benefits us in this life and the hereafter.

We at Seeds of Sadaqah believe that every individual deserves a place to call home and access to basic amenities like water. This is not just a basic human right, but also a way to enable self-sufficiency and eliminate the need for external aid.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,

“The best charity is giving water to drink” (Ahmad)

This emphasises the importance of providing access to safe water for those in need.

In addition, Allah (SWT) tells us in the Quran,

“Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah are like a seed which grows seven spikes, in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.” (2:261)

Seeds of Sadaqah is a non-profit organisation that focuses on delivering Sadaqah Jariyah. We have partnered with local organisations in Bangladesh to identify the orphans, widows, the disabled and the most-needy who require our support the most. We ensure strict allocation criteria so that your donations are distributed appropriately.

Arsenic-Free Deep Water Well – £375 (Zakat eligible)

Our projects include the establishment of arsenic-free deep-water wells, which provide a safe and long-lasting water source for the beneficiaries. Providing arsenic-free deep-water wells in Bangladesh is a critical initiative to address the urgent need for clean drinking water among the country’s impoverished communities. With over 20 million people at risk of being exposed to high levels of arsenic in their water, this project aims to provide a safe and sustainable water source for those who are most vulnerable.

By digging deep into the ground and installing water pumps, we can provide clean and safe water that will improve the health and well-being of these communities, while also reducing the risk of waterborne diseases. This initiative has the potential to transform the lives of thousands of people by giving them access to one of the most basic human needs – safe and clean water.

Community Mega Well – £2,200

Providing a community mega well in Bangladesh is a crucial step towards ensuring that the country’s impoverished communities have access to a reliable and sustainable source of clean drinking water. Unlike traditional wells, which can only serve a limited number of households, a community mega well can provide water to multiple outlets and access points throughout the village.

This initiative not only improves access to clean water but also reduces the time and effort required by women and children to collect water, which can be better spent on education and other productive activities. By providing this essential infrastructure, we can make a significant impact on the lives of thousands of people, improving their health and well-being, and creating a pathway for a better future.

Tin Housing – £1,500 (Zakat eligible)

You are helping to build a high-quality tin house in Bangladesh for those who are in need. We take great effort to ensure that every phase of the construction process meets the highest standards since our devotion to excellence is anchored in our beliefs. In light of this, we construct the house’s walls using only the highest quality materials, such as high end tin steel. This guarantees that the building will be sturdy, resilient, and able to weather the elements, giving the beneficiary a safe and cosy place to live and call home.

Brick Housing – £2,800 (Zakat eligible)

In our mission to build a high-quality brick house for those in need in Bangladesh! Our team is committed to excellence in every phase of the construction process, because we believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable home. That’s why we source our bricks locally, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and can withstand the test of time. By using top-quality materials, we can guarantee that the building will be sturdy, resilient, and able to weather any elements that come its way.

Conclusion

We are proud to support local businesses and communities by using locally-sourced bricks. Not only does this ensure the quality of our building materials, but it also helps to support the local economy and promote sustainable practices. By contributing to this project, you’re not only helping to provide a safe and cozy home for someone in need, but you’re also making a positive impact on the community as a whole.

Thank you for your support in creating a better world for those in need. Together, we can make a difference!

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,

“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end, except for three instances, ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or pious children, who pray for him when they have passed” (Muslim).

Your Sadaqah will not only benefit those in need but also continue to benefit you in the hereafter, Insha’Allah.

So let us come together and support this wonderful project that will benefit us and our loved ones in this life and the hereafter, Insha’Allah.

Remember, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,

“Charity does not in any way decrease wealth. The servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people)” (Muslim).

May Allah (SWT) bless you and reward you abundantly for your generosity.
